We are pleased to be able to feature a new offering from a Cemaes Bay based resident. Hugh Moytt is the brain child behind Anglesey Pizza Oven Hire. This great new venture offers the opportunity to hire a wood-fired oven to enhance your stay at our cottages.
After an eclectic career which encompassed both time as a Royal Naval Officer and a number of years as a Head Teacher, Hugh has settled to live on the beautiful Island of Anglesey. He has had a lifelong interest in fine food, having been brought up in a top restaurant in south Cheshire; along the way, he has competed in Master Chef and trained as a pastry chef.
More recently, Hugh’s passion has been focused on wood-fired ovens and their versatility. Initially, it was a desire to produce the ultimate pizza, but he has found that the flexibility of the Igneus Classico has enabled him to cook a variety of delicious meals - from freshly caught lobster to Sunday roasts. His aim is to give visitors the opportunity to enjoy the thrill of cooking in one of the most traditional ways using a wood-fired oven and enjoy the finest pizzas, as well as perhaps trying your hand at an “outdoor breakfast” and much more...
The Igneus Classico hire package includes full instruction pack, kiln-dried logs and all the equipment required for family and friends to enjoy producing amazing al fresco meals in these beautiful wood-fired ovens, either for a week/weekend hire.
